Getting here
Immediately after leaving the main island of North Uist (heading south) over the causeway to the island of Grimsay, take the first turning on the left in the direction of Kallin harbour. Baymore can be seen in the distance approximately one mile from the turn off. An Taigh Fiodh can be seen on a hill.
Plane
There are daily flights from Glasgow, Stornoway and Barra to Benbecula airport, seven miles away. You can also fly to/from Inverness and Aberdeen via Stornoway.

Ferry
An Taigh Fiodh is located 16 miles from the ferry terminal at Lochmaddy, to which you can sail from Skye. See the Calmac website for sailing times. Alternatively, you could sail from Oban to Lochboisdale on South Uist, 34 miles away.
Bus
A bus service runs through Baigh-Mor (Baymore). See the Council website (service W17 for travel throughout the Uists, and service W22 for travel on Grimsay) for details.
Scottish Citylink operate a service from Glasgow to Skye from where you can catch the ferry.
Train
