An
Taigh Fiodh (the Wooden House) is a self-catering apartment on the island
of Grimsay in the Outer Hebrides/Western Isles.
The luxurious, fully-equipped accommodation is on two floors and occupies one end of an original, architect-designed house (built 2006) with beautiful views overlooking the
bay. It is approximately three miles off the main north-south road through
the Uists.
The area is rich in wildlife
and places to explore, from lochs and harbours to miles of unspoilt beaches.
An Taigh Fiodh provides a comfortable base to come home to after days spent
walking, fishing, bird watching or just soaking up the scenery.
